Dear Blue Knights and Ladies of Europe, winter is slowly coming to an end and in many places our motorcycles are being brought out of hibernation again. 

For many of us, this marks the beginning of the best time of the year, the motorcycle season together. Before we set off on the roads again, it is worth taking a moment to focus on the essentials. 

A thorough check of our motorcycles is just as important as preparing ourselves for the season ahead. Tires, brakes, lights, battery and oil or about a small service helps ensure that we start the new season safely. Safety always begins with ourselves and with our motorcycles. The coming months will once again offer many opportunities to meet within the Blue Knights family across Europe. From local chapter rides to national meetings and international gatherings, these moments continue to show what our community is all about: camaraderie, mutual respect and the joy of riding together. One important gathering this spring will be the Officer Down Memorial Ride 2026, where many of us come together to remember our fallen colleagues and friends. Later in the season we will meet again at our European Convention 2026 in Abruzzo, which I am personally very much looking forward to. 

Anyone who has questions about the current developments within Blue Knights Europe or who simply wishes to exchange thoughts is always welcome. I will personally be attending both the Officer Down Memorial Ride and the European Convention in Abruzzo, and I look forward to meeting many of you there and taking the time for conversations and questions.
