European Board Meeting in Trier

Dear Blue Knights,

From 30 October to 1 November, the European Board gathered in Trier, Germany, for our autumn meeting.

During our time together, we discussed several important matters, agreed on common goals and prepared the next steps for the future of our European Conference.

New European Safety Officer

I am particularly pleased that Jennifer “Pixel” Rabe was unanimously confirmed as our new European Safety Officer. I would like to warmly welcome Pixel to our team once again and wish her every success and enjoyment in her new role.

Better communication

Another important topic was improving communication throughout our European Conference. We want the European Board to be more visible, accessible and approachable to our Chapters and members.

This includes providing more regular information about our activities and exploring the idea of identifying suitable contact persons in individual countries. These contacts could help strengthen communication between the Chapters and the European Board, particularly across language barriers.

Friends and new chapters

We also discussed strengthening our cooperation with our friends from UK & Ireland. By working more closely together, sharing experiences and supporting each other, we can address common challenges more effectively.

The ongoing efforts to establish a new Blue Knights Chapter in Spain were another encouraging topic. We are pleased to support this initiative and hope to welcome more Blue Knights into our European community in the near future.

Our meeting was characterised by open discussions, mutual respect and a shared commitment to moving our organisation forward.

I would like to sincerely thank all European Board members for their dedication, valuable contributions and the excellent spirit of friendship and cooperation throughout the meeting.

Together, we can achieve a great deal for our European Blue Knights family.
