European Blue Knights support traffic safety, charity projects, and promote friendship among fellow officers. The European Conference helps strengthen ties, organize major events, and represent members across the region. Germany currently has more than 40 individual chapters with around 1,200–1,500 members.
1974 – Founded in the USA
The Blue Knights® International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club began in Bangor, Maine, when nine police officers started a local motorcycle group inspired by the TV series "The Blue Knight." Their main goals were safe, family-oriented riding and building camaraderie among law enforcement officers.
First European Contacts
American Blue Knights members connected with European police motorcyclists during a Paris visit, sparking interest in bringing the club to Europe.

The first European chapter—France I—was founded. Soon after, more chapters followed in Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, Switzerland, Austria, and the UK.
